Puesto que hemos lanzado la versión de Yumit en español, vamos empezar a publicar cosas en español también en el blog.

La nueva plataforma de Yumit supone un paso reseñable en cuanto a facilidad de uso de cara al usuario. Hemos integrado los Venues de Foursquare para que sea muy sencillo descubrir nuevos places y añadirlos a la base de datos de Yumit. De cara al usuario, esta integración es bastante similar a la que ha hecho el popular Instagram. Además, permite al usuario hacer checkin en este popular servicio a la vez que se crea un Yum (foto incluída), lo que añade una red social más a las ya anteriormente soportadas (Twitter, Facebook y Flickr).
La geolocalización también nos ha permitido crear una portada local con contenidos propios de la ciudad y/o país del visitante. Además de buscar lugares interesantes cercanos desde la aplicación mobile con mucha más precisión gracias al GPS del terminal.

User_taggings_and_hastags
We have recently added special tagging features in Yums.

  • User Taggings means a yum shared with other user. It only requires this syntax @username
  • Hastags mean mostly like in many other popular social networks a theme, event, or happening that the yums is related to. They require this syntax #hashtag
